COLLECTIVE MOVEMENT 2019-2020
We re-branded! Early into my time as historian for UTD Dancing For a Cause, it was announced by the founder of the DFCs in Dallas that the DFC name would be disbanding and therefore the existing DFCs would have to re-brand. This gave us the opportunity to have not only more freedom but a clean slate to reinvent ourselves.
For me, the historian, this put a lot on my plate in terms of media and social media. Despite that, we were able to quickly make "Collective Movement" a name all dancers on campus had heard of. Unfortunately, our organization was one of the ones to be negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and a year later we were forced to go on an indefinite hiatus due to participation difficulties and lack of showcase/competition opportunities. However, I will be forever grateful I got to be a part of sharing "CMVT" with the world, even if it was for a short period of time.

CMVT Officer Shoot
jan 2020
Every semester I organized a photoshoot for the officers of the team, and for the Spring 2020 photoshoot, I decided to go with a cafe shoot. Unfortunately, within an hour of us shooting in there, we were kicked to the curb (life of a photographer), so I moved the shoot to a playground/neighborhood that was right behind us. Worked out for the best :)

Theme: Sunset / golden hour
For my last officer photoshoot, I wanted to go with a bang. However, the pandemic provided it difficult to come up with more elaborate locations and group shots. So, for this last theme of mine, my co historian and I decided to convey the stillness of the pandemic and go with something more soothing. Such as sunsets.
